Cognitive Load Testing (CLT) is another type of test designed to measure cognitive activity in human-machine interactions. Used extensively in psychology and in neuroscience to assess human interaction with complex environments such as aircraft cockpits, CLT for web design has traditionally been undertaken only in lab conditions.


GlobalMaxer’s new testing tool and methodology, ThinkTrack, replicates the more traditional type of CLT test but undertakes them in-browser and with live visitors. Currently in beta, Think Track will be rolled out as part of the GlobalMaxer suite during 2011.
