Sequential Visit Testing
Sequential Visit Testing (SVT) is a new type of testing developed by Oban Multilingual for integration into the GlobalMaxer suite. SVT is a type of segmentation that tracks visitors from third party sites (e.g. via clicking on links, emails or web advertising), and using GlobalMaxer sequentially serves them a landing page experience based on whether this is the first, second, third etc visit. In this way, marketers and advertisers using behavioural targeting or other segmentation techniques to re-target repeat visitors can actually test the success of their re-targeting campaign, without making expensive landing page changes or building orphan pages outside the CMS.
